KOTPAD

Kotpad is the handloom of the Mirgan weaving community of Koraput district in southern Odisha, and the first product from Odisha to receive a Geographical Indication tag. The cotton is hand-spun and handwoven, and its deep reds and earthy tones come from natural dye made from the root of the aal tree. We cut it into shift dresses, long dresses, jackets and co-ords, often paired with ikat. Every piece is made to order in our Bangalore studio, in XS–XXL or to your measurements.
